Precious Angels Childcare and Learning Center History

Carol’s Little Angels began humbly in a duplex on Forrest Glenn in Memphis, TN, between 1988 and 1989. The first small class consisted of family members and close friends, forming the foundation of what would become the Precious Angels legacy. This home-based environment continued from 1994 to 2003, serving as a loving “home away from home” where many little ones learned, grew, and were nurtured.

As enrollment increased and the waiting list grew, Ms. Carol recognized the need for a larger setting to continue providing quality care and early learning experiences. With a clear vision in her heart and mind, Ms. Carol and her husband, Mr. Willie, began searching for the perfect location to expand their dream.

In July 2003, that dream became a reality with the opening of Precious Angels Childcare and Learning Center. Licensed by the State of Tennessee, we have proudly maintained a 3-Star rating throughout our existence.

Our motto, “Making the Difference in Quality Care,” reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole child through an advanced educational approach that emphasizes learning through play. We remain dedicated to serving our community with love, excellence, and a deep passion for children’s growth and development.
